Couple months back we planned a trip to Goa with a few friends. Nikhil and I were exceptionally clear about our priorities on this trip - eat, drink, relax and repeat! And that's exactly what we did haha!
It was peak rainy season so we couldn't do a tonne of beach stuff. So we walked around, explored the lush greens of Goa, ate an exceptional amount of food and got matching tattoos!!

I have been to Goa many times but this time the food we ate was just out of this world. Our first night we ended up at this cute little cafe bar called Hideaway Cafe in Vagator. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to do "Goa" properly. The food, cocktails, vibe, ambience and the host is all perfect. Met some amazing people and chilled the night away. We had ordered some Butter Garlic Prawns, Butter Garlic Calamari, Pork tacos and a risotto. Their butter garlic sauce is the best I've ever had. And the tacos were so awesome we had to get another plate. The cocktails are super tasty too. Just an amazing place which is quite underrated.

The next night we landed at Sakana for dinner. This is a Japanese place again in Vagator. By the time we left, our hearts were full and our stomachs were ready to pop! Their sushis, gyozas and tempuras were just delicious. We ordered many different types. They had some specials on their menu that night so we ordered a bunch of stuff from the specials including a pork rib dish. What really surprised me was the Red Snapper Sashimi in ponzu sauce. I am not a sashimi person but this was yummerssss. We also ordered a Genki Udon Pork and Shrimp Noodle Soup. Again just wow.

Next up - Gunpowder, Assagao. Kicked off this meal with a Beef Fry and some yummy ale. For the mains we ordered a Madras Chicken Curry, Tamarind Fish Curry and Backwaters Prawn Masala. All of this was finished up with some appams and rice. Just the most beautiful lunch place and so peaceful. Could've taken a post lunch nap right there!
I'm sure you're wondering by now how much more did we eat. A tonne more!

For dinner the same night (yeah we actually made room for more food) we went to Anand Seafood which is in Anjuna. Now this was proper Goan food with their Goan Prawn Curry, Bombil Rawa Fry, Prawn Rawa Fry and Squid Reachedo. Everything was polished off in minutes!

The day after Nikhil and I wandered off for the day by ourselves just being a bunch of cuties! We had an amazing day out - sat in Tomato's Beachside on Candolim and had a couple of Moscow mules. Post this we went to Moyo Asian Kitchen and Bar back in Anjuna. OH MY GOD the food we had here. Anyway, let's start with the vibe, ambience and staff. 10/10. Everything is a perfect. The best place to go for date night. We started off with some Negroni cocktails which are really yummy. For the food we ordered Prawn Curry Dumpling, Dragon Vegetable Rolls, Belgium Pork Bao and Prawn Sambal Bao. A little part of me died and went to heaven as I ate this food. I think if I had to pick between all of the yummies, the belgium pork bao was my absolute favourite. Definitely going back for this! Like I said - 10/10!

Our last brunch in Goa had to be Baba Au Rhum. One can chill here for hours. It's the most wonderful place with an exceptional vibe. The hosts are amazing and so is the rest of the staff. We ordered a lot of food here. Like a lot a lot - Bacon Delight Croissant Sandwich, Hercules Burger, Spicy Goan Sausage Pizza, Roast Beef Cigars, Avocado Prawn Salad and Warm Goat's Cheese Salad. Washed it all down with freshly brewed beer!
Was such a satisfying end to our trip!
Until next time! Cheers xoxo
